Contest

Evidently we had a minor wind storm on Saturday so our meeting did not go off as planned. Not enough people to decide on extending the contest. The ball is in my court. I have decided to extend our writing contest to post date September 8, 2005. This way I can get the entries to our coordinadors on September 10 during our meeting. The judges should have winners by October 1. Winners should be notified in October and a luncheon held on November 5, 2005.

In the meantime, I will need to get letters out, notices on the Web, and something in the Herald by the end of next week. If we get no more entries, we'll go with what we have and give the money from our treasury. We can always blame the hurricanes...
